BMFcast Spoilcast 009 – Dune

Dune (2021) is out and is available on HBO Max! Two mild Dune enthusiasts are here to talk through all things Dune. Write in and let us know all the Dune things we got wrong!

BMFcast Spoilcast – Wandavision

After recording our most recent episode we had time to chat about Wandavision (2021) and what it might mean for the Marvel Cinematic Universe going forward. There are minor spoilers so be warned (I mean, it’s right there in the title). Afterwords we get silly and start dunking on Zack Snyder, as you do.

The BMFcast Variety Hour 030 – Togas and Hail

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) is… of course… the film we all watched this week. We’ve got some non-spoiler thoughts and then some spoiler-filled thoughts (which run from 20:30 to 42:00). Later we discuss The Mandalorian, The New Mutants, Tenet, Disney Pixar’s Soul and finally Chuck makes a plea for everyone to watch Russell Crowe in Unhinged. See you in 2021!

BMFcast465 – Raw Force – Cocaine Art Garfunkel

Raw Force (1982) is the beginning of Force May-jeure and what an insane thing this movie is. The Burbank Karate Club travels to Warriors Island via The Worst Cruise Line in the World™ and ends up battling sadistic monks and zombie kung fu killers. It’s nuts!

The second half is ENTIRELY Avengers: Endgame talk with 100% spoilers at all times. You’ve been warned.

BMFSpoilCast07 – Pacific Rim

Pacific Rim (2013) brings us back to the long forgotten realm of the SpoilCast! Stop reading this and go see it. Then see it again. This is our kind of movie. So we talk about it. Enjoy!

BMFcast129 – Sloth’s Wrath

One Man Force (1989) continues Force Month.  You will envy John Matuszak as he takes pride in his lust for vengeance. After his partner is killed he must hunt down the greedy villains. We have more than enough to satisfy our hunger for killing.

Second half we take a few voicemails and emails and then talk Dr. No as Maki begins his 23 Weeks of Bond quest. Plus a quick review of Due Date. Then we really bring the heat as we begin our in depth (mostly. mostly.) spoiler-free review of Prometheus. Enjoy!

BMFcast – Super Soldier Special

Pyun Pyun Pyun.

Captain America (1990) by Albert Pyun kicks off this very special (non numbered) edition of the BMFcast, as we review back to back Captain Americas. Matt Salinger stars as Cap, and along for the ride are (for some unknown reason) Ronny Cox, Ned Beatty and Darrin McGavin.

In the second half, it’s SpoilCast time as we talk Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) in the version that has a budget of more than $10. Seriously, I think in the 1990 one they ended up buffaloing and eating the wings off Cap’s mask by the end of it. As always, spoilers ahoy! Also, the part of Maki in the second half will be played by the oft mentioned but never before heard (on the BMFcast at least) Greencapt.

BMFSpoilCast06 – Fast Five

I live my life five movies at a time.

This SpoilCast is all about Fast Five (2011) or The Fast and the Furious Part Five if you’re not into that whole brevity thing. We seriously can’t recommend this movie strongly enough. Get out and see it if you enjoy things going fast and getting wrecked by giant safes.

BMFSpoilCast05 – Source Code

This SpoilCast we tackle Duncan Jones’ sophomore effort Source Code (2011).  The Prince of Nebraska and the Queen of Santa Costumes team up with @ManMadeMoon to make a smart thriller. Come hear what we think and as always, spoilers will be aplenty!

BMFSpoilCast04 – Sucker Punch

This punch is just a little off the mark. But there's still some gold within.

It’s been a while but we’re back with a new Spoilcast! This one is all about Sucker Punch (2011) and we try to dispel a little of the vitriol that’s been spewed about Zack Snyder’s latest. We’re not going to say we love it but we break it down a little more than blind hatred.
