BMFcast190 – Monk-E

Super Buddies (2013) is the wrap up movie to Dogust and our first Disney movie ever. Since the inception of the Air Bud franchise, it’s all led to this. Five puppies gain super powers (besides being able to talk) and fight an evil alien. Its G-rating could have been grating but it’s better than you’d think.

Second half we talk The World’s End, a pair of Korean movies (The Man From Nowhere and I’m a Cyborg, But That’s Okay) and get Dieselized with Pitch Black. Plus emails and even a brand new contest for you to enter, dear listener. Enjoy!

BMFcast189 – I Can Smell Your Corey

Watchers (1988) is up for week 4 of Dogust. Corey Haim and a genetically engineered dog must fight off a genetically engineered Sasquatch thing. Oh and Michael Ironside is a bad guy too.

Second half we talk Kick-Ass 2, Olympus Has Fallen and more. Plus listener correspondence and other general insanity. Enjoy!

BMFcast188 – It Burns When He Pees

Man’s Best Friend (1993) is the third Dogust movie and this time it’s not a family movie. Hooray! Come hear us ramble on in one of our longest first half debates to date as we argue who the heroes and villains of this movie are.

Second half we discuss Elysium and some other completely random movies. Enjoy!

BMFcast187 – On a Cop Dog

Cop Dog (2008) is our second Dogust movie suggestion simply because of what number episode we were on. Nothing else about this movie is in our wheelhouse and it’s barely a cop dog in the movie called Cop Dog. Besides that, it goes places you really can’t (shouldn’t) expect.

Second half we discuss The Wolverine, Twelve and a bunch of other random movies and take some listener emails. Enjoy!

BMFcast186 – This Doggie’s Gone to Heaven

Quigley (2003) is the first movie of Dogust. Gary Busey in a G-rated movie where he dies and comes back as a dog. Yep. This is a recipe for disaster.

*Note there is an issue with the 1st half recording quality. It’s not just you!*

Second half we discuss some random movies and take some listener correspondence.

BMFcast185 – Hang In There, Mr. Twist

Ghetto Blaster (1989) is the movie this week. Richard Hatch goes home to his old neighborhood only to find it being run by the Hammer Gang and Apollo has to put the haters on blast. Or maybe it’s all just a literal white washing of gang violence. Either way there’s a mayhem montage and other outstanding moments.

Second half we talk Death Machine XL a.k.a. the 122m cut, Hellboy 2, Layer Cake and settle in to some listener correspondence. Enjoy!

BMFcast184 – Fearomones

Death Machine (1994) is a movie that’s been in the queue for a long time. Giant robot kills people in an early 90s Sci Fi thing that wants to be Aliens. PLUS THERE IS SOME YELLING. And wall punching.

Second half we discuss the cultural zeitgeist of Sharknado and a better future for SyFy and Asylum Films. Plus a bit about Edgar Wright’s Hot Fuzz and Guillermo Del Toro’s Hellboy and Pacific Rim. Enjoy!

BMFSpoilCast07 – Pacific Rim

Pacific Rim (2013) brings us back to the long forgotten realm of the SpoilCast! Stop reading this and go see it. Then see it again. This is our kind of movie. So we talk about it. Enjoy!

BMFcast183 – Master Chief

Samurai Cop (1991) is this week’s movie and boy is it a doozy. This is the movie that people seem to think Miami Connection is but better (or worse depending on how you look at it).

Second half is equally a humdinger as we talk a lot of movies and catch up on correspondence after our week’s break. Included movies are World War Z, This Is The End, Evil Dead (2012) and 1954’s original version of Godzilla? Yeah we did some random in this super sized, extra long episode. Enjoy!

BMFcast182 – FLASHLIGHT

End Game (2006) is our endgame for #cubagoodingjune. That is if our endgame was to make an utterly unbelievable plot into an almost unwatchable movie.

Second half we talk the randomest of movies and generally just fill up some time. Enjoy!
