BMFcast322 – Trigger Warning

BMF-Ep322-slider

Dangerous Men (2005) is our movie for this week, and the episode title is not a joke. (If you’re sensitive about violence towards women, this might be the week to skip. Seriously.) Dangerous Men is the story of a woman wronged who is out for revenge… Sort of. It’s also the story of a cop tracking down a biker named Black Pepper… Sort of. Pieced together over 20+ years of footage and recently re-released by Drafthouse Films, was this “WTF is happening” movie worth the effort?

Second half we briefly talk Deadpool before taking listener correspondence about All The President’s Men that devolves into us discussing how much we are old men. Enjoy!

BMFcast321 – Ninjango

BMF-Ep321-slider

Enter The Ninja (1981) is a Cannon classic from the inimitable Menahem Golan. Franco Nero plays the whitest ninja while Sho Kosugi plays the most kill-happy. We also get a healthy dose of crazy bosses and fun henchmen.

After the break Harlo talks more Hardcore Henry, Chuck gives his verdict on HBO’s Confirmation and take more listener correspondence! Enjoy!

BMFcast320 – Press Space To Jason

BMF-Ep320-slider

The Ice Pirates (1984) marks a space classic unseen since the childhoods of some podcast members, but does it hold up as adults? Can a bevy of BMFcast alums overcome the randomness and weird tone?

After the break Maki goes first person with Hardcore Henry, Harlo enjoys Sisters way more than he expected, and we give some Patreon shoutouts. Enjoy!

BMFcast319 – My Hovercraft Is Full Of Heels

BMF-Ep319-slider

Hard Hunted (1993) brings us back into the wonderful world of Andy Sidaris. Donna and Nicole are once again tasked with doing something that will involve shooting dudes, blowing up dudes and getting naked with dudes. It’s an Andy Sidaris movie, after all.

Second half Harlo talks about Star Wars: The Force Awakens‘ making-of documentary, Chuck likes The Big Short and The Hateful Eight we all take a metric ton of listener correspondence. Enjoy!

BMFcast318 – Sit, Stay, Heel Turn

BMF-Ep318-slider

Russell Madness (2015) is, predictably, the conclusion to the March To Russell Madness! Robert Vince returns to direct another tale of talking dogs and monkeys doing things they shouldn’t be doing. Like joining pro wrestling federations. Will we become Russell Maniacs by the time it’s all over?

After the break Harlo gives his take on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Maki easily recommends The Big Short and we check out another batch of listener correspondence. Enjoy!

BMFcast317 – Face Kick Party

BMF-Ep317-slider

Tough and Deadly (1995) continues the March to Russell Madness! Billy Blanks and Roddy Piper, the stars of Back In Action return to kick a LOT of people in the face. Like, an unbelievable amount. Don’t believe us? Watch our  face kick supercut!

After the break we get Netflixy as BJ discusses Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny and Harlo gives his take on Pee Wee’s Big Holiday. Chuck revisits Revenge of the Nerds, Maki honors ATCQ by watching Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest and we even take some listener correspondence that might be wrestling related! Enjoy!

BMFcast316 – Deus Ex Packina

BMF-Ep316-slider

Hunt To Kill (2010) is how we celebrate episode 316 and the March to Russell Madness. It stars Stone Cold Steve Austin (get it!? 3:16!?) as a border patrol agent who loses his partner and has a daughter who gets kidnapped by Gil Bellows and his crew and… Blah blah blah, just get to killing dudes, Steve. Thankfully, in the third act, he does.

After the break Harlo and Chuck discuss 10 Cloverfield Lane as non-spoilery as possible and we catch up on a batch of listener correspondence, including a bunch of brand new voicemails. Enjoy!

BMFcast315 – Hurricane Ka’Cena

BMF-Ep315-slider

12 Rounds marks the triumphant return of John Cena and our 7th anniversary of podcasting! If you’ve seen Die Hard With a Vengeance, you’ve seen most of this movie. Can Cena running around destroying New Orleans while Aidan Gillen keeps calling his cell help that?

Second half BJ and Harlo discuss London Has Fallen and Chuck decides to go on a teen comedy watching spree. Enjoy!

BMFcast314 – Stifler Sliders

BMF-Ep314-slider

American Pie Presents Band Camp (2005) seemed like the proper way to “celebrate” episode 3.14. (Get it!?) Or something. Turns out that was a bad idea, as Stifler’s younger brother is an even worse character than the original guy. And he’s the main character. Uh oh.

After the break Harlo discusses What We Do In The Shadows and Smokin’ Aces while the rest of us didn’t watch anything so we respond to listener e-mails and voicemails instead. Enjoy!

BMFcast313 – State Senator Stephen Stills

BMF-Ep313-slider

Sweet Jesus, Preacherman (1973) wraps up this year’s Blaxploitation History Month. Can TC from Magnum PI convince us he’s a hitman convincing churchgoers he’s their new preacher? Will he clean up the streets or end as shady as William Smith (yes, him, again), who hired him? Also, can the movie possibly live up to its awesome poster?

The second half is turned over to you, the listeners as we take a boatload of e-mails and voicemails discussing movies that misunderstand technology, Lucha Underground, blaxploitation’s role in modern entertainment, and even the very essence of Chuck Fine™. Enjoy!
