BMFcast Extra 190 – Two Minute Warning
Two Minute Warning (1976) is a film about a sniper at the Super Bowl and the police efforts to stop him. They fail. An all-star cast and a silly script make this somewhat interesting and fun to talk about.
Bonus talk includes discussion of the TV edit of this film which is a completely different movie. It’s wild.

BMFcast Extra 189 – The Shape of Things to Come
The Shape of Things to Come (1979) is a silly sci-fi tale about Jack Palance, lord of the robots, who wants to become emperor of the moon. You should really go check this out on Amazon Prime or wherever it might be streaming now before firing up this latest episode because, wow, this is a thing…

BMFcast531 – Point Blank – Danny Treblow
Point Blank (1998) features a frightening Mickey Rourke infiltrating a Texas shopping mall that has been taken over by escaped prisoners, including Danny Trejo. He’s bad at his job and while he gets results, it does seem as though way more people die than reasonably allowed. And the movie is Christmas-adjacent. We’ll explain how.
We also listen to a voicemail and argue about the validity of Nicolas Cage. Enjoy!

BMFcast529 – Doctor Mordrid – The Eye of Clamato
Doctor Mordrid (1992) is Full Moon’s take on Marvel’s Doctor Strange. It even started life as a Doctor Strange movie until they lost the rights at some point. Jeffrey Combs stars as the titular doctor and doesn’t get much to do. In fact, not much happens at all in this very padded 74 minute effort.

BMFcast Extra 188 – Transylvania 6-5000
Transylvania 6-5000 (1985) is a cult 80s comedy that Harlo and Chuck both watched for the very first time in 2020. The results are not favorable, however we both agree that Geena Davis’ costume is the best thing in the film.

BMFcast528 – The Blob – Art La Flurries
The Blob (1988) is a damn good time at the movies. This remake of the 1950s classic is both faithful and surprising, and features some nifty special effects for the time. And this is how we said farewell to veteran character actor Art LaFleur who passed away this week. Ribbed.

BMFcast527 – Day of the Warrior – Inormous
Day of the Warrior (1996) is the penultimate entry in the Andy Sidaris-verse. It’s not exactly clear what’s going on, but there’s a bad dude (Marcus Alexander Bagwell) doing bad things and the L.E.T.H.A.L. ladies agency or whatever is out to stop them. Rock hard 90s hooters ensue.
