BMFcast448 – Silent Night, Deadly Night – Quigley’s Down Under
Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984) is the notorious Santa Claus slasher that’s laughable in today’s climate because SO MUCH has happened to us since 1984. Anyway, there’s some fun to be had here, especially if you like an entire second act where you can just identify 80s toys in the background.
In the second half we’ve got a slew of new releases to talk about. Chuck and BJ have praise for the technical aspects of Game Night, Harlo viewed Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Peppermint, and Bad Times at the El Royale, and Chuck rapid fires through Tag, Mission Impossible Fallout, Deadpool 2 and Venom. Enjoy, and happy holidays!

BMFcast447 – Deep Blue Sea – Deez Boobs, See?
Deep Blue Sea 2 (2018) is the sequel we never knew we wanted. Turns out we were right. We didn’t want it.
In the second half though we’ve got a ton of actual movies to talk about, including Upgrade, Sorry To Bother You, Benji, Ideal Home, Ready Player One, Isle of Dogs, Hearts Beat Loud and more. Random Netflix and Stan Lee chat as well. Enjoy!

BMFcast Extra 098 – Transformers Age of Extinction
Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) is a soft reboot of the series with the same plot continuity but an entirely new cast. That means we get a healthy dose of Marky Mark and Stanley Tucci running around fighting Transformers. But whew, is this thing exhausting!

BMFcast445 – Original Gangstas – Turn Your Head And Coffy
Original Gangstas (1996) is how we’re celebrating Blaxploitation Friday this year! This 20 year old film is a supposedly a celebration of a genre from 20 years earlier but is more in line with the 90s gangs genre instead of the Blaxploitation stuff we know and love. But all your favorites are here (although some only for a scene or two) and there’s something to be said for that.
In the second half, Chuck has a recommendation-palooza and he says you should watch the following 2018 releases: Acts of Violence, Bent, Anon, Skyscraper, The Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Solo: A Star Wars Story. All good! All Chuck approved!

BMFcast444 – Night of the Kickfighters – Gunchucks
Night of the Kickfighters (1988?) is another one of those baffling motion pictures made by people you’ve never heard of and featuring Adam West in a small role. An elite squad of footpunchers bands together to rescue the daughter of a man who’s made a death ray for the government. Typical Tuesday.
In the second half we quickly discuss Hotel Artemis (2018) and Johnny English (2003). Enjoy!

BMFcast Extra 095 – Bad Boys
Bad Boys (1995) is the first ever Michael Bay film, and one we’ve talked about on BMFcast Prime several times over the years. Now, finally, once and for all, we will come to a definitive opinion.

BMFcast443 – Vigilante Force – The Zooks
Vigilante Force (1976) is Bucktown, but with white folks. Jan-Michael Vincent recruits his brother Kris Kristofferson to come and clean up his small town, but Kristofferson has other ideas. People get punched and everything explodes!
In the second half we wrap up spooky movie season with some chat about The Thing and Poltergeist and then Chuck has some words for Justice League and the DC Universe in general. Enjoy!

BMFcast Extra 093 – Armageddon
Armageddon (1998) is the film that Michael Bay says is his worst effort. Has he not seen Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen? Anyway, Armageddon is great.

BMFcast442 – Maximum Overdrive – The Mighty Trucks
Maximum Overdrive (1986) is Stephen King’s only feature as a director and it is pure 80s cocaine madness. A comet buzzes the Earth and machines go crazy. A small group of survivors is trapped by a convoy of evil trucks at a truck stop. It’s wild!
Horror continues into the second half as BJ has thoughts on 1408 (2007) and Dead Silence (2007). Enjoy your Halloweens everyone!

BMFcast441 – Scream For Help – Coitus Interruptus Maximus
Scream For Help (1984) is an insane thriller about a teen girl who suspects her stepfather is trying to kill her and her mother. It’s filled with nonsensical decisions and head scratching musical choices. It’s great. So great in fact that we forgo a break and segue directly into the second half as Harlo has words for Mandy (2018). Enjoy!
