BMFcast230 – Backflipping Out

Go go go see Ivan Ooze.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995) is our very unofficial tribute to the idea of KaiJune that ends in a CGI nightmare of sadness. But the bad guy is the best thing about this one.

Second half we talk about some random movies including Life of Pi, Horrible Bosses, Black Swan and continue Double Dance Review with Step Up and Step Up 2: The Streets. Enjoy!

BMFcast198 – Monstrawsity

Voyage of the Rock Aliens (1984) is week 4 of Rocktober’s movie. This time we bring along the incomparable Pia Zadora to this low budget Sci-Fi zany rock musical party. There’s gags aplenty and more of them work than they should.

Second half we discuss some random movies including Grave Encounters and then get spooky answering some listener emails. Enjoy!

BMFcast190 – Monk-E

Super Buddies (2013) is the wrap up movie to Dogust and our first Disney movie ever. Since the inception of the Air Bud franchise, it’s all led to this. Five puppies gain super powers (besides being able to talk) and fight an evil alien. Its G-rating could have been grating but it’s better than you’d think.

Second half we talk The World’s End, a pair of Korean movies (The Man From Nowhere and I’m a Cyborg, But That’s Okay) and get Dieselized with Pitch Black. Plus emails and even a brand new contest for you to enter, dear listener. Enjoy!

BMFcast84 – Polymath

Ahh the 80s when pink and purple wide untied ties were considered cool.

The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across The 8th Dimension (1984) is this week’s review from 1984. That title was long enough to type so we’ll let the review speak for itself.

Second half we pick our winners for the Facebook Fan contest as we cross 100! Plus, we take a voicemail topic and discuss our favorite Westerns/Samurai films.

BMFcast72 – Mandiballs

Taking back the word “zone” with explosive force.

Zone Troopers (1985) is reviewed and we are joined once again by Shiny Lights TStrel. This one is brought to us by Charles Band and directed by the writer of Arena. While not quite the unanimous winner that was, we still manage to have plenty of fun with this one.

Then second half it’s all Oscar talk. We give our picks, wishes and regrets on the entire showdown.
