The BMFcast Variety Hour 030 – Togas and Hail

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) is… of course… the film we all watched this week. We’ve got some non-spoiler thoughts and then some spoiler-filled thoughts (which run from 20:30 to 42:00). Later we discuss The Mandalorian, The New Mutants, Tenet, Disney Pixar’s Soul and finally Chuck makes a plea for everyone to watch Russell Crowe in Unhinged. See you in 2021!

BMFcast Extra 169 – Homefront

Homefront (2013) is a Sylvester Stallone written action movie starring Jason Statham and not Stallone. Literally no Stallone. Statham is a former DEA agent who moves to the meth capital of Louisiana NOT KNOWING THIS AHEAD OF TIME. James Franco meth dealer hijinks ensue and dudes get WRECKED.

The BMFcast Variety Hour 029 – The Ball Jar Jar

The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two (2020) is how we celebrate the Holidays around these parts. Should you? Tune in to find out.

Also we’ve got some thoughts on Good Omens, The Stand, The Mandalorian (and the 27 new Star Wars shows coming soon), Arrested Development, The Grand Tour and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Also, the gang learns that you can adjust playback speed on Netflix videos. Why?

The BMFcast Variety Hour 028 – Denzel’s Kids

Tenet (2020) is the big topic this week, but don’t think it’s a bad movie. It’s not. It’s just the most important thing on the agenda this week. That agenda also includes talk about Freaky (2020), the new documentary about The Bee Gees, Fargo Season 4, that new Alien TV show, The Queen’s Gambit, and John Carpenter’s Starman. Also, everyone thinks Martin Scorsese’s Hugo was an animated film. It’s not!

BMFcast Extra 168 – Skiptrace

Skiptrace (2016) partners Jackie Chan with Johnny Knoxville and the two have past their prime Midnight Run adventures together. Also, it’s directed by Renny Harlin. Why isn’t this better?!

BMFcast Extra 167 – Battle of the Year

Battle of the Year (2013) is about a ragtag group of b-boyers (which is breakdancers in case you’re old like us) who have to come together in order to compete on the world stage. They’re coached by Sawyer from “Lost” who used to be a world famous b-boyer, which hahahahaha.

The BMFcast Variety Hour 027 – Tote Bags

“It’s the 80s. Do a lot of coke and vote for Ronald Reagan…”

We accidentally went Back to the 80s in this week’s episode as curiosity, circumstance and Black Friday deals have us checking out the Back to the Future trilogy, Gremlins and The Last Starfighter. Later we discuss Jonathan Scott’s Power Trip, The Undoing, Fargo Season 4 and Archer. Then we discuss how viewers continually get things wrong with big event shows like Lost, Game of Thrones, True Detective and others.

BMFcast Extra 166 – Acapulco Gold

Acapulco Gold (1976) is “the Skateball of drug smuggling movies.” Since none of you will get that I’ll explain further. It’s the most laid back, family friendly movie about heroin smuggling you’ve ever seen from 1976 starring Marjoe Gortner (Starcrash). #420BlazeIt
