BMFcast449 – Judgment Night – Boxing Day

Judgment Night (1993) was one we’ve had on the potential list for a long time, and it’s possible we waiting just a bit too long. It’s a VERY 1990S thriller that runs a bit too long and never really goes for it, except for the performances of Jeremy Piven and Cuba Gooding Jr.

In the second half we continue to crush some 2018 movies for Golden Jox considerations, including Aquaman, The Predator, The Christmas Chronicles, Bird Box, Kin, The House with a Clock in its Walls, Skyscraper, First Man and The Ant-Man and the Wasp. Enjoy! See you in 2019!

BMFcast Extra 101 – Transformers The Last Knight

Transformers: The Last Knight (2017) is our last Michael Bay Transformers movie and THANK GOD BECAUSE THEY’RE ALL SO EXHAUSTING. Also, there’s bonus Transformers G1 animated series talk.

BMFcast448 – Silent Night, Deadly Night – Quigley’s Down Under

Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984) is the notorious Santa Claus slasher that’s laughable in today’s climate because SO MUCH has happened to us since 1984. Anyway, there’s some fun to be had here, especially if you like an entire second act where you can just identify 80s toys in the background.

In the second half we’ve got a slew of new releases to talk about. Chuck and BJ have praise for the technical aspects of Game Night, Harlo viewed Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Peppermint, and Bad Times at the El Royale, and Chuck rapid fires through Tag, Mission Impossible Fallout, Deadpool 2 and Venom. Enjoy, and happy holidays!

BMFcast Extra 100 – Goin’ Coconuts

Goin’ Coconuts (1978) is the film that will finally explain Donny and Marie Osmond to us. Except it totally doesn’t. They play themselves as bad guys try to steal Marie’s necklace. Donny hits on ladies. Marie objects. It’s all quite weird. 100 episodes though, yay!

BMFcast Extra 099 – Pain and Gain

Pain and Gain (2013) is the tale of three swole boys doing crimes, so we enlisted the two swolest members of the podcast to talk about it. It’s Michael Bay’s most non-Michael Bay-iest movie yet!

BMFcast447 – Deep Blue Sea – Deez Boobs, See?

Deep Blue Sea 2 (2018) is the sequel we never knew we wanted. Turns out we were right. We didn’t want it.

In the second half though we’ve got a ton of actual movies to talk about, including Upgrade, Sorry To Bother You, Benji, Ideal Home, Ready Player One, Isle of Dogs, Hearts Beat Loud and more. Random Netflix and Stan Lee chat as well. Enjoy!

BMFcast Extra 098 – Transformers Age of Extinction

Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) is a soft reboot of the series with the same plot continuity but an entirely new cast. That means we get a healthy dose of Marky Mark and Stanley Tucci running around fighting Transformers. But whew, is this thing exhausting!
