BMFcast132 – Tax Shelter Epic

In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007) is a movie with a title almost as long as the movie itself. We totally break our mold of sub-90 minute movies by doing the director’s cut of this one that clocks in at a (not at all) brisk 156 minutes. Will Burt Reynolds, Ray Liotta, Matthew Lillard and Jason Statham make it worth it?

Second half we go crazy catching up on emails and the like. Plus more Bond Marathon with Thunderball and talk of a few other oddball movie choices. Enjoy!

BMFcast131 – Chuck Norris Takes The BLAH Into His Own Hands

The Delta Force (1986) wraps up Force Month, but also to celebrates the 4th of July with Chuck Norris. Sadly, this movie isn’t quite the instant classic that Invasion U.S.A. was.

Second half we continue Maki’s Bond Marathon with Goldfinger, talk Snow White and the Huntsman and a double feature of Fright Night (1985) and Fright Night (2011). Enjoy!

BMFcast130 – Greetings From Grandma

Tactical Force (2011) starring Steve Austin and Michael Jai White is reviewed. Watch us do a magic trick and give those other straight to DVD movies the double bird by really enjoying this one.

Second half we take a bunch of voicemails, continue Maki’s 23 Weeks of Bond marathon with From Russia With Love and talk John Carter. Enjoy!

BMFcast129 – Sloth’s Wrath

One Man Force (1989) continues Force Month.  You will envy John Matuszak as he takes pride in his lust for vengeance. After his partner is killed he must hunt down the greedy villains. We have more than enough to satisfy our hunger for killing.

Second half we take a few voicemails and emails and then talk Dr. No as Maki begins his 23 Weeks of Bond quest. Plus a quick review of Due Date. Then we really bring the heat as we begin our in depth (mostly. mostly.) spoiler-free review of Prometheus. Enjoy!

BMFcast128 – A House Divided

Lethal Force (2001) inaugurates June as our “Force Month.”  This here movie thing may come closest to causing a rift amongst our ranks as any have before it.

Second half we talk aliens, feuds and baseball movies with Paul (2011), Hatfields & McCoys (2012) and more. If only they were all the same movie. Enjoy!

BMFcast127 – Barry Bostwick’s Wardrobe Department

Megaforce (1982) is amazing and stars three BMFcast alums! Barry Bostwick is Ace Hunter, a man of action and snazzy ever changing costumes. Michael Beck is Dallas and that’s about all that he’s good for. Henry Silva is the bad guy who is also strangely kind of best friends with the hero. Also there’s souped up dirt bikes that fire rockets! (And maybe some other amazing tricks up their sleeves!)

Second half we talk Men in Black 3 (2012) along with a host of other movies and take a few listener emails. Enjoy!

BMFcast126 – Rogue Magnetic Anomaly

Metal Tornado (2012) is brand spanking new and fresh from the local disc rental kiosk machine. Lou Diamond Phillips must miraculously track down a rogue vortex made of pure magnetism. How does that work?

Second half we take some emails and a voicemail. Then there may be some opinions put forth that go against the common sentiments about a couple of movies that may or may not be Drive (2011) and Bridesmaids (2011).

BMFcast125 – Big Rock Candy Mountin’

The Marine (2006) starring John Cena is reviewed this week. We feel a bit of shame for how much we enjoyed this outing from WWE Films and compensate with our longest first half  since The Wicker Man.

Second half it’s a voicemail/email extravaganza. Mrs. Doubtfire (1993) and Bucky Larson (2011) might get mentioned. Enjoy!

BMFcast124 – Asstagonist

Pinball Summer (1980) aka Pick-up Summer is this week’s review. There’s pinball. There’s boobs. This should be good. It’s not.

Second half we take a couple of voicemails and spend far too long discussing this little art movie that came out last week that some of you may have seen. Avengers, or something like that?

Here’s a video preview of the workout scene!

BMFcast123 – S.H.I.E.L.D.’s HR Department

Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. (1998) wraps up the Before Marvel F*cking Cared About Standards Trilogy previously presented by Stan Lee.* The Hoff takes on the challenging role of the one eyed man with a plan. Lisa Rinna effortlessly manages to annoy the ever loving piss out of us by being the worst agent in the history of espionage.

Second half we take a voicemail and some email. What an original idea huh? We also talk Asylum & Roger Corman movies, GI Joe: Rise of Cobra, Rango, The People Vs. George Lucas, Thor and Captain America. Enjoy!
