BMFcast544 – Operation Dumbo Drop – CO Tuco

Operation Dumbo Drop (1995) was one of the few remaining Ray Liotta (RIP) movies we had that would qualify for this show. It’s a weird PG Disney movie set during the Vietnam War. That’s a very odd thing. Is it bad? Some of us definitely think so!

BMFcast542 – Tremors 2 Aftershocks – Gross Point Blank

Tremors 2: Aftershocks (1996) is the first direct to video sequel in the now long-running franchise. It’s also how we’re saying goodbye to the late Fred Ward, as this was one of his rare starring roles. The Graboids are back (in Mexico!) and Ward is hired to wipe them out. It’s surprisingly well done for a low budget DTV entry.

BMFcast537 – House Party 2 – P’Jam

House Party 2 (1991) sees Kid (Kid) off to college while Play (Play) stays behind to work in the record store. Hijinks ensue. Also, drama? But then there’s a pajama jammie jam, which is why we’re all here. It’s a very wholesome R-rated comedy.

BMFcast Extra 197 – Delta Force 3

Delta Force 3: The Killing Game (1991) features the sons and brothers of famous action stars or otherwise acclaimed filmmakers. This is not a good casting choice for an action movie. It’s a gimmick, one which does not work at all. Even BMFcast-beloved director Sam Firstenberg (with creative consulting from Brian Trenchard-Smith!) can’t make this nonsense work.

BMFcast Extra 195 – Pumpkinhead II Blood Wings

Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings (1994) is a lousy sequel to the original cult classic. The characters are gross, the monster is less impressive, the rules don’t seem to sync up with the original… it’s just worse in almost every way imaginable.

BMFcast531 – Point Blank – Danny Treblow

Point Blank (1998) features a frightening Mickey Rourke infiltrating a Texas shopping mall that has been taken over by escaped prisoners, including Danny Trejo. He’s bad at his job and while he gets results, it does seem as though way more people die than reasonably allowed. And the movie is Christmas-adjacent. We’ll explain how.

We also listen to a voicemail and argue about the validity of Nicolas Cage. Enjoy!

BMFcast530 – Zero Tolerance – Wet Love

Zero Tolerance (1994) features Robert Patrick as a straight-laced FBI man whose family is murdered by evil drug kingpin Titus Welliver. AT CHRISTMAS. He has zero tolerance for this and murders everyone in the organization. It’s a PM Entertainment joint which means lots of cars will explode.

BMFcast529 – Doctor Mordrid – The Eye of Clamato

Doctor Mordrid (1992) is Full Moon’s take on Marvel’s Doctor Strange. It even started life as a Doctor Strange movie until they lost the rights at some point. Jeffrey Combs stars as the titular doctor and doesn’t get much to do. In fact, not much happens at all in this very padded 74 minute effort.

BMFcast527 – Day of the Warrior – Inormous

Day of the Warrior (1996) is the penultimate entry in the Andy Sidaris-verse. It’s not exactly clear what’s going on, but there’s a bad dude (Marcus Alexander Bagwell) doing bad things and the L.E.T.H.A.L. ladies agency or whatever is out to stop them. Rock hard 90s hooters ensue.

BMFcast520 – Bikini Summer – The T&A DA

Bikini Summer (1991) is a harmless T&A comedy which one BMFcaster describes as “The Citizen Kane of movies with the word ‘bikini’ in the title”. The other three don’t much care to describe it at all. Also, BJ announces his exciting new Patreon show!
