BMFcast384 – Spacehunter – The Forbidden Arizone
Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone (1983) is a b-movie space adventure staring Peter Strauss, Molly Ringwald, Ernie Hudson and Michael Ironside, but there’s a budget behind it. When Wolff (Strauss) is hired to track down earth women stranded on a distant planet run by Overdog (Ironside), he’ll need the help of Niki (Ringwald) and Washington (Hudson) to get into Overdog’s base and take him down.
After the break Harlo & Chuck superhero it up with Spider Man: Homecoming (2017), Wonder Woman (2017) and Power Rangers (2017), before Maki checks in on his magical journey with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (2009). Cherry 2000 (1987) is the tale of a man and his sex robot. When Sam Treadwell’s (David Andrews) robo-wife short-circuits, he starts on a journey into the wastelands to find a new one. Helping him is an unlikely tracker (Melanie Griffith), but they have to avoid the angry Murder Dad cult led by Lester (Tim Thomerson). Yes, this movie is as odd as it sounds.
