The BMFcast Variety Hour 007 – Tarantino and the T-Rex

No main movie this week as we’re all being pulled in multiple directions all at once, but we did manage to slap together an episode, for you!

We’ve got thoughts on 2020’s John Henry, Dawn of the Dead, all the nutty versions of Night of the Living Dead, Happy Madison’s latest Netflix venture The Wrong Missy, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, the new Amazon series Upload, 2012’s Lockout, Hulu’s The Great, revisionist history in entertainment, Jackie Chan Movies in the Morning, and we wrap up with the season finale of The Last Dance. Then we get schooled on the filmography of Scott Adkins and say goodbye to Fred Willard. Wear a mask ya filthy animals.

The BMFcast Variety Hour 006 – Crime People

Spenser Confidential (2020) is our latest “We all have Netflix so let’s watch this for the podcast” movie. Forget everything you know about Spenser For Hire because this isn’t that. But it is pretty good! Skip to 27 minutes in if you don’t want to hear any spoilers about this recent release.

Once that’s done we’ve got some things to say about other things. Things like BJ’s take on Extraction since he was absent last week. Also, Chuck gives a shout out to the 2009 indie horror film Hunger (available on Amazon Prime). Then we talk about woes searching for things on IMDb, the kindness of Mexicans, David Tennant’s Fright Night, and of course more recaps of The Last Dance. Enjoy!
