BMFcast Extra 133 – The Foreigner

The Foreigner (2017) is a story about the IRA. In 2017. Jackie Chan’s daughter is murdered in an IRA bombing (in 2017) and he harasses Irish political man Pierce Brosnan for the names of the bombers so he can Jackie Chan them to death. Dark, somber, not at all like something we usually watch… but is it worth it despite all that? Tune in.

BMFcast488 – Dead Trigger – Thanks Obama Bridge

Dead Trigger (2019) is a movie about Dolph Lundgren training a bunch of not-soliders to fight zombies, and they all pretty much die as a result. It’s terrible.

In the second half we’ve got a lot to catch up on including BJ’s thoughts on Dolemite is My Name (2019), Maki’s rewatch of Watchmen (2009) and Evil Dead 2 (1987), Harlo having words for Pet Sematary (2019), Good Boys (2019), Stranger Things Season 3 and Living With Yourself, and Chuck’s got quick thoughts on Trainwreck (2015), Crawl (2019), Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003), Revolver (2005) and Runner Runner (2013). Finally we wrap up with your emails. Enjoy!

BMFcast484 – Journey 2 The Mysterious Island – Luis Goofman

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012) is an unnecessary but superior sequel to the Brendan Fraser original, except he’s gone and has been replaced with The Rock. Also, Michael Caine, Luis Guzman and Vanessa Hudgens join the returning Josh Hutcherson. That’s right, it’s ROCKTOBER time!

In the second half we’ve got hot takes on Between Two Ferns: The Movie, Across the Universe and Breaking Bad. Also, it’s spooky season with Chuck on YouTube as 31 Days of Horror enters its 12th season!

BMFcast Extra 124 – John Wick 3 Parabellum

John Wick: Chapter 3 (2019) is such an exciting movie that we brought in fellow BMFcast Prime co-host Maki to help us talk through it. It’s John Wick. He murders fools. And we love it.

BMFcast460 – The Car Road To Revenge – Stalk Car

The Car: Road to Revenge (2019) is the sequel no one was expecting, and as it turns out, no one wanted. It’s more of a Crow movie than a Car movie, and a cheap one at that.

In the second half we’ve got thoughts on Us and Vice as well as our trademark James Bond talk that creeps up every so often. Enjoy!

BMFcast458 – Spooky Buddies – Spermy Ghostdog

Spooky Buddies (2011) is our latest foray into the world of talking dog movies. This one has the buddies (and their kid owners) being menaced by a warlock and the Halloween Hound who want to let all the evil out of the thing and then the things will thing. It’s a G-rated nightmare.

In the second half it’s Captain Marvel time, along with quick thoughts on Free Solo, The Front Runner, Chappaquiddick and Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Plus, your emails and voicemails!

BMFcast457 – 4Got10 – Mexican Sit-Off

4Got10 (2015) is the film we chose to denote the four of us celebrating the show’s 10th anniversary. It’s the tale of a drug deal gone bad and our main character has “4Got10” who he is. Dolph Lundgren, Danny Trejo and Michael Pare are along for the crime ride.

(Note: A character in the film uses a Google search engine knock off called Poodle, and while we neglected to mention this in the episode, it is indeed the best part of the entire movie.)

In the second half it’s celebration time, as we look back on 10 years of the BMFcast with stories, jokes and your emails and voicemails. We thank you all for being here and hope you continue to enjoy our… content.

BMFcast Extra 107 – The Commuter

The Commuter (2018) might be dismissed as just another far fetched Liam Neeson actioner, but there’s something to this one. It won’t be as good after repeat viewings, but that first time with this movie can be quite the ride.

(Note: This episode was recorded in December 2018, before whatever the hell is going on with Liam Neeson hit the news. Thank you.)

BMFcast Extra 106 – The Christmas Chronicles

The Christmas Chronicles (2018) is what you get when you take Santa Claus: The Movie, add Kurt Russell, then divide by Minions and multiply by Gremlins? Trust us, that’s kinda right, and this movie is kinda good. Happy Holidays!

BMFcast Extra 105 – Death Wish (2018)

Death Wish (2018) is Eli Roth’s remake of the “classic” Charles Bronson vigilante movie. Hey, remember vigilante movies? It’s a dead genre that seems super out of place in the 21st century, but there might be something to this one? Tune in for the debate.
