BMFcast223 – James Bondobo

Please be Richard Kind and rewind.

Spymate (2006) is our final movie for APEril. We’ve teased our watching it since way back during our James Bond marathon and now its time has come.

Second half we discuss In Your Eyes, the Star Wars prequel trilogy and more. Enjoy!

BMFcast220 – Al Wants S’more

MVP 2: Most Vertical Primate (2001) is our first movie for APEril. Watch Jack hang with Al (from Home Improvement) and get some sick air and also mostly play hockey.

Second half we talk Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Gravity, The Wolf of Wall Street and more. Enjoy!

BMFcast217 – LeBron Scores 40

Scorcher (2002) is our second movie for March Dacascos and this time Mark is totally miscast as a military guy who has absolutely no idea how to fight. Rutger Hauer plays the President who decides the only way to save the planet is to detonate a nuke in Los Angeles.

Second half we talk some random movies including The Lego Movie, 12 Years A Slave and Smokey and the Bandit. Plus listener correspondence and more. Enjoy!

BMFcast207 – Cultaway

Cutaway (2000) is our final movie of 2013. If you like movies about skydiving, this might be the movie for you. If you like movies that bother with any plot other than skydiving, it probably isn’t.

Second half we quickly talk about a few catchup movies of 2013 and then on to the Golden Jox awards for the year. Enjoy!

BMFcast205 – Drinking is the Norm at Christmas

Santa Buddies (2009) kicks off our holiday season by revisiting those miserable talking dogs from Super Buddies. This time though the CG is worse and it nearly kills our holiday spirit. Which is ironic because the movie is all about why we should have the holiday spirit.

Second half we talk a bevy of movies including The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, 2 Guns and more. Then some listener correspondence. Enjoy!

BMFcast199 – Rock Puns

The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas (2000) is our surprise bonus Rocktober movie. Only surprise is that we finished watching the movie. Special guest Walt joins us to replace a missing Maki.

Second half we talk spooky movies including Grave Encounters 2, The Conjuring and more. Plus some non-spooky regular movie discussions. Enjoy!

BMFcast195 – The Scorpion’s Eyebrow

The Scorpion King (2002) is how we kick off Rocktober! The Rock stars in a loosely based spinoff of The Mummy movies in what ultimately is a pretty decent, albeit PG-13, sword & sorcery movie.

Second half we discuss plenty of random stuff as it’s mostly listener correspondence and random tangents. Enjoy!

BMFcast186 – This Doggie’s Gone to Heaven

Quigley (2003) is the first movie of Dogust. Gary Busey in a G-rated movie where he dies and comes back as a dog. Yep. This is a recipe for disaster.

*Note there is an issue with the 1st half recording quality. It’s not just you!*

Second half we discuss some random movies and take some listener correspondence.

BMFcast91 – The Word

We were shocked it was so terrible. And yet so loveable.

Birdemic: Shock and Terror (2010) is a suggestion by The Asian Correspondent. Words won’t do this one justice, just listen.

Second half we take some listener mail, talk a bit about Red State (2011) and double (triple) up on the Cons as we talk WWCC, Flashback Weekend and Dragon*Con. Set phasers to nerd and ENGAGE!

BMFcast80 – Like, Totally

This movie proves blondes really are more worthless human beings.

Totally Blonde (2001? 2003?) starring Krista Allen is reviewed this episode, based on our first female caller to the BMFcast Hotline. I hear Michael Bublé might sing in this one!

Second half we kill it with a voicemails, talk Easy A and Maki finally gets around to seeing The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift to complete his collection. Enjoy!
