The Amityville Murders (2018) is an attempt to tell the original story of the DeFeo murders, the incident which occurred before the Lutz family moves into the house in the original Amityville Horror. In some ways it works, and in many others it doesn’t. But it has weird Amityville II: The Possession nostalgia and insane Long Island accents, so enjoy!
