BMFcast Extra 105 – Death Wish (2018)
Death Wish (2018) is Eli Roth’s remake of the “classic” Charles Bronson vigilante movie. Hey, remember vigilante movies? It’s a dead genre that seems super out of place in the 21st century, but there might be something to this one? Tune in for the debate.

BMFcast452 – Nowhere to Run – Top Heavy
Nowhere to Run (1993) is a lesser entry in Jean Claude Van Damme’s wildly inconsistent 90s filmography but there’s still fun to be had in this Shane-esque tale of a mystery man who saves a family from evil land developers, led by Joss Ackland and Ted Levine.
In the second half we’ve got Ant-Man and the Wasp, Bohemian Rhapsody and IO talk, plus your emails and voicemails. Enjoy!

BMFcast Extra 104 – Black Water
Black Water (2018) is still banking on your nostalgia for the pairing of Jean Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren. It’s a “submarine” movie that clearly doesn’t take place inside one, and was mostly filmed in Mobile, Alabama. It’s about as mundane as you can get, but is it bad?

BMFcast Extra 103 – The Meg
The Meg (2018) is the first major studio megalodon movie after a flood of low budget ones, and that’s not usually how it works. This one has Jason Statham literally fighting the giant shark, and it’s great! Don’t sleep on this one.

BMFcast451 – Judgment Day – Dick Cardigan
Judgment Day (1999) is our latest and there’s much to discuss. No, it’s not a follow up to Judgment Night, but still That’s The Jokeā¢. It’s actually a Deep Impact/Armageddon rip off written by Fred Olen Ray, directed by the guy who played Deathstalker in Deathstalker II, and features a cavalcade of BMFcast alums including Ice-T, Coolio, Zeus from No Holds Barred and Mario Van Peebles. Oh yeah, that means it’s a #Vanuary movie too.
In the second half we run through some movies we watched for Golden Jox consideration that didn’t quite make the final cut, including Mandy, Halloween, Equalizer 2, Hotel Artemis, Bad Times at the El Royale, Kin, Roma and more. Plus, Harlo is in love with Riverdale on the CW. Enjoy!

Bad Boys II (2003) is our last Michael Bay movie. It is also the best Michael Bay movie. Yep, he peaked in 2003. Still, what a ride.
