BMFcast279 – Ol’ Swole Neck

BMF-Ep279-slider

The King of the Kickboxers (1990) might have our smarmiest protagonist ever in Loren Avedon’s Jake, but at least he’s taking on Billy Blanks’ Khan, among our evilest antagonists ever. After plenty of bizarre training, can he avenge his brother’s death and put an end to a snuff film ring? The bigger question is just how many Jox will we give this movie?

After the break we catch up on some listener e-mails after Chuck gives his take on Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig’s weird Lifetime movie experiment, A Deadly Adoption. Enjoy!

BMFcast278 – Huge Blunderbuss

Loose Cannons (1990) is a “comedy” where Gene Hackman, Dan Aykroyd and Dom DeLuise go on the run, attempting to expose a conspiracy around a sex tape of Adolf Hitler. It sounds a lot better than it actually is.

In the second half it’s all Jurassic World, as Harlo skypes in for our roundtable discussion of the biggest movie opening ever. Enjoy!

BMFcast277 – Fresh Paint

The Final Alliance (1990) marks the return of David Hasselhoff to the show. He’s a drifter returning to his hometown to take on a biker gang led by an albino John Saxon. Oh yeah, he has a pet puma. Sold yet?

After the break we revisit and discuss the Jurassic Park series in anticipation of Jurassic World, and renew our Kung Fury discussion with a listener e-mail. Enjoy!

BMFcast276 – Doug The Bounty Hunter

White Fury (1990) is our latest foray into the filmography of BMFcast alum David A. Prior (Deadly Prey, Killer Workout, Invasion Force). How does this odd mix of snowboarding and cabin-invasion fare by comparison?

After the break we discuss Kung Fury, the Kickstarter sensation that doesn’t quite live up to they hype for us. Harlo catches up with Rocky III and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water (it was a weird weekend), Chuck revisits Contact, and then we answer some listener e-mails. Enjoy!
