BMFcast417 – BMX Bandits – Stunt Roll
BMX Bandits (1983) brings Nicole Kidman her BMFcast debut and returns one of our favorite directors, Brian Trenchard-Smith. Three teens who love BMX’ing get caught up in shenanigans when they steal some police radios intended to be used in a bank heist. Chase scenes ensue. A lot of extended chase scenes.
After the break Harlo and Chuck return from the theater to discuss Pacific Rim Uprising (2018) and, of course, Pacific Rim (2013). Harlo enjoys The Greatest Showman (2017) and Game Over, Man (2018) before Chuck gets into some TV with Netflix’s Jessica Jones Season 2 and The Toys That Made Us. As if that wasn’t enough, we catch up on listener correspondence and are even presented with a movie mystery to solve!

BMFcast375 – Dragonball Evolution – Urn-ie Hudson
Dragonball Evolution (2009) continues AniMAY! It’a a live action (very loose) adaptation of the long-running manga and anime series. Can Chow Yun-Fat, Emmy Rossum, Ernie Hudson, and James Marsters overcome Justin Chatwin being cast as Goku? Or does it not matter because it just turns into a CG mess anyway?
In the second half Harlo gives his impressions of Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 (2017), Chuck revisits Broken Arrow (1996) and the documentary Chuck Norris Vs Communism (2015), and BJ marathons Netflix’s Santa Clarita Diet (2017) and weighs in on Kung Fury (2015). All this, plus listener correspondence, too! Enjoy!

Why Episode I sucks in approximately 70 minutes…
This guy apparently found some kind of machine that burrows into my head and can READ MY MIND. Because every complaint he has is one that I’ve leveled at this movie at some point. Just watch it. Then watch part 2, then parts 3-7. Yes, his series has more episodes than Star Wars.
The only problem with this already existing? How can a BMFcast possibly top this? And here I was hoping we’d be able to do Episode I for Episode 50… Even if we do, I promise not to talk like that guy. Maybe.
