BMFcast152 – Lone Baldwin

Anonymous Rex (2004) continues Triple Rex 2: State of the Union. This time it’s a SyFy Original movie starring Sam Trammell and Daniel (the other other) Baldwin as dinosaur detectives pretending to be human. Results may vary.

Second half we feel the lost feeling of Bond Marathon being over as we just meander around talking about random movies but we still manage to make some talk out of it. Enjoy!

BMFcast151 – Dino Might

The Eden Formula (2006) or as it also (and should only be) known as, Tyrannosaurus Wrecks, begins our Triple Rex 2: State of the Union trilogy. Jeff Fahey and Tony Todd chew through slightly more scenery than the awful dino puppet.

Second half we talk about The Man With the Iron Fists, The Campaign and a few other older random movies. Plus we take some listener emails. Enjoy!

BMFcast150 – Putting Bond on Ice

xXx: State of the Union (2005) celebrates our sesquicentesode. Our pal Ice Cube returns to put the snarl back in spy work and blow stuff up in interesting ways.

Second half it’s a super sized Bond Marathon blowout as we wrap it all up. Skyfall is discussed (non spoilery) and we do a breakdown of our favorite and worst of the entire series. Plus listeners chime in with their thoughts and a special closeout song by listener Josh. Enjoy!

BMFcast149 – YOLO

If Looks Could Kill (1991) starts a quick spy double header in honor of pending James Bond. Richard Grieco is a “spy” with too much makeup and a far too trusting supporting cast that defines the old joke about the word assume.

Second half we go double header on our Bond Marathon with Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. Plus stick around till the very end to hear listener Josh’s rendition of the Thunderball theme. That’s a lot of Bond. Enjoy!

BMFcast148 – Chet Buddyguy

Invitation to Hell (1984) concludes October Month. We found one more sinister spa movie and this one is a crazy made for TV movie directed by Wes Craven and starring Robert Urich & Susan Lucci. Just when we thought we were out, they pulled us back in.

Second half we go a little nuts talking about Die Another Day to wrap up Pierce Brosnan’s Bond run and wax a little philosophic on what happened to the series at this point. Plus a listener voicemail and more. Enjoy!

BMFcast147 – Mr. Ex’s Position

Hell Spa (1992) gets reviewed because just when we thought we were out of killer spa movies, a wild one appears. Mr. Ex will make a deal of your lifetime in this straight to video (and shot on) little gem.

Second half it’s The World is Not Enough to continue Bond Marathon, plus Seven Psychopaths and more. Enjoy!

BMFcast146 – Dr. Moray

Death Spa (1987) continues October Month with more fitness and death. Alternatively titled Witch Bitch and also listed as coming out two years later than production marks at the end of the movie. Speaking of the end of the movie. Holy crap!

Second half it’s all Bond as we discuss Tomorrow Never Dies and the recent 50th Anniversary soundtrack release along with a possible “Internet Sweepstakes” where you can earn yourself a copy. Enjoy!

BMFcast145 – Extra Crispy

Aerobicide (1987) (also known as Killer Workout) starts October Month! It’s from our pal David A. Prior, director of Deadly Prey, and even once again stars Ted Prior. A killer is loose and there’s plenty of sweaty lady workout montages. What’s not to like?

Second half we discuss Dredd 3D and move into Pierce Brosnan Bond with Goldeneye. Plus plenty more chances for us to be goofy as we take some listener voicemail and email. Enjoy!

BMFcast144 – Savage Leather

Savage Beach (1989) the next review in the line from our old pal Andy Sidaris. This one feels a bit of a misfire, but there’s still some fun to be had.

Second half we warn against P.T. Anderson’s The Master but then go all in with next movie in our Bond Marathon: License to Kill. Then we take some listener voicemails and talk a little Indiana Jones. Enjoy!

BMFcast143 – Stuck N Reno

Convict 762 (1997) is a completely random movie we found when our only requirement was “space movie.” It’s got an all female “spaceship”, atrocious early CGI and always villain Billy Drago. What could go wrong?

Second half we continue our Bond Marathon with new Bond Timothy Dalton in The Living Daylights. Also we talk about The Fall (2006) and BJ marathons Peep Show. Enjoy!
