BMFcast251 – Michael Caine’s Brody Quest

Jaws: The Revenge (1987) is our wrap up to Sharksgiving. A great white shark chases Sheriff Brody’s widow Ellen down to the Bahamas after it eats her son. Because that seems like a thing a shark should do.

Second half we discuss Interstellar, Inception, 21 & 22 Jump Street, Hunger Games: Catching Fire and more. Enjoy!

BMFcast250 – Quarter Millennial

Samuel LL Cool J

Deep Blue Sea (1999) is how we celebrate both Sharksgiving and two hundred fifty episodes. It’s a big movie. It’s a dumb movie. It’s a big dumb movie full of smart sharks.

Second half it’s all about listener correspondence and reminiscing on our past, origins and how we shockingly kill off Chuck in the final panel. Enjoy!

BMFcast249 – Captain Jack Sharkness

CGI can't wait to watch this again

Shark Attack 3: Megalodon (2002) is how we open Sharksgiving. CGI sharks, stilted dialog and insane performances by our main cast members make this something special.

Second half we briefly talk about the Found Footage Festival, Creature from the Black Lagoon and then take some listener correspondence. Enjoy!

BMFcast248 – Mall Good Things…

Why don't you make like a phantom and disappear.

Phantom of the Mall: Eric’s Revenge (1989) is our wrap-up to Malltober. This little flick is Phantom of the Opera set in a mall with Pauly Shore, The Most Interesting Man in the World and my wife, Morgan Fairchild. Much like other phantoms, Eric is a bit of murdering psychopath.

Second half we get into some serious horror discussions as Chuck dives into Leviathan, Maki is treated to Halloween, Chuck and Maki talk loudly about the Scream series and Harlo ends up watching the Final Destination series. THAT’S A LOT OF MOVIES! Enjoy!

BMFcast247 – In Bloom County

Ready or not

Hide and go Shriek (1988) is week 3 of Malltober. This time our not quite mall is a rather large furniture store. Otherwise you know the drill, kids locked inside overnight, killer on the loose and go. Though the twist is one you probably won’t see coming.

Second half we discuss Dead Heat, Oculus, Transformers: Age of Extinction, 28 Weeks Later, 300: Rise of an Empire and more. Enjoy!

BMFcast246 – Merry Christmas, Grizzly Adams

The best nazi elf Santa saves Christmas movie ever.

Elves (1989) is where we begin to stretch the meaning of Malltober because there simply aren’t enough mall horror movies. This time it’s a large department store and there’s a Nazi plot to breed elves with humans to make the perfect assassins and only Dan Haggerty can stop it. Right.

Second half we discuss Guardians of the Galaxy, Galaxy Quest, Dead & Buried, The Thing and The Thing. Plus more including listener correspondence. Enjoy!

BMFcast245 – Paul Bot: Robo Mall Cop

Chop till they drop

Chopping Mall (1986) is our first movie for Malltober. Teenagers are stalked through a mall by killer robot security guards gone awry.

Second half we talk Grudge Match, The Cold Light of Day, Jaws, Close Encounters of the Third Kind and many more. Enjoy!

BMFcast244 – The Lions, The Stich and A Wardrobe

The Mane Attraction

Roar (1981) is a curiosity to behold. It’s curious how everyone involved in making this ‘movie’ didn’t die a horrible death.

Second half we discuss Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Brick Mansions, Running Scared and The Purge. Plus listener correspondence. Enjoy!

BMFcast243 – Killtruck Murderwagon

Dr Killtruck vs The People

Rolling Vengeance (1987) is our movie for the week. How do you out redneck some evil redneck murderers? By making the ultimate monster truck murder machine.

Second half we discuss lot of movies including Non-Stop, Neighbors, That Awkward Moment, Flight and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

BMFcast242 – Starmonica

Catching criminals in a split second.

Wanted Dead or Alive (1986) is a return for Rutger Hauer. We’ve had some shaky offerings with him before but we may be alright here as he’s chasing after Gene Simmons and aided by Robert Guillaume.

Second half we discuss random movies including Gravity, Predator 2 and Viva. Then get into a lengthy discussion thanks to a single email. Enjoy!
