BMFcast480 – Enemy Gold – YY Bottom

Enemy Gold (1993) is our latest movie from the Andy Sidaris clan. This time it’s Andy’s son behind the camera, proving he can make a movie that’s not as good as Hard Ticket To Hawaii just as much as his dad can. There’s a drug bust and some Civil War gold and lots of naked hooters.

In the second half we’ve got thoughts on Aladdin (2019) and Disney things in general, Amazon’s The Boys, and The Matrix trilogy. Finally.

BMFcast Extra 121 – The Running Man

The Running Man (1987) is a lesser yet still important entry in Arnold’s early filmography. It takes place in 2019 and features a dystopian society fed by state-run media, and the number one show is a gameshow where convicts get murdered to death. Also, it’s got jokes. Hopefully so do we.

BMFcast479 – Fist of Honor – Babe Vigoda

Fist of Honor (1993) has Sam Jones playing FIST SULLIVAN, mob muscle who also fights in battles to resolve mafia turf wars. When he’s framed for the murder of his own girlfriend AND Abe Vigoda, he’s gotta fist some honor.

In the second half there’s Brightburn musings, along with thoughts on GLOW Season Three and the Rocko’s Modern Life update. Enjoy!

BMFcast Extra 120 – Universal Soldier

Universal Soldier (1992) is the first of 97 pairings of Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren. It’s a somewhat underrated action film that somehow has half a dozen sequels. Also, it’s the perfect Easter movie, what with all the resurrections and such.

BMFcast477 – Air Bud – Snack Pack

Air Bud (1997) was what we needed this week. It’s the nice yet slightly horrific tale of an orphaned golden retriever (Buddy) who can also play basketball. So he does. And wins the state championship. There’s also kids and clowns and deserted islands along the way.

In the second half, Harlo starves while enjoying The Hunger Games quadrilogy, then goes back in time to see what all the fuss was about for Lawrence of Arabia. Chuck takes a trip to Atlanta, and then we’ve got a great bunch of emails. Enjoy!

BMFcast476 – Showdown – Un-Tom-Lee Death

Showdown (1993) is what happens when you take The Karate Kid and, well, make it again. Ken just started at Paradise High School but Tom hates it when Ken talks to his girl (Hey Dudes’ Christine Taylor). They fight. Then the school janitor/former Paradise Policeman Billy (Billy Blanks) teaches Ken how to fight. Everything concludes in an underground teenage fight club.

In the second half, BJ and Chuck have varying opinions on Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood (2019), and then the whole gang joins in on the Tarantino talk with specific thoughts on Kill Bill Vol. 1 (2003) and True Romance (1993). Also, brief opinions on Shazam (2019) and Thunderbirds (2004). Enjoy!

BMFcast Extra 119 – Iron Eagle

Iron Eagle (1986) is the first of four Irons Eagles and boy is it an 80s movie. Must have been fun to be a kid in the 80s where there’s zero consequences and you can go on murder adventures with Louis Gossett Jr.

BMFcast475 – Hercules II – Ginger Ric Flair

Hercules II (1985) is the continuing adventures of Lou Ferrigno’s Hercules, although he may not have known that as they were filming. The stop motion robots of the first film have been replaced by lasers and drugs, so there’s things to talk about here.

In the second half we’ve got things to say about Spider Man: Far From Home, The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot, Crazy Rich Asians, Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan’s Hope, The Ladykillers, The Beach and TV’s Holey Moley. Enjoy!

BMFcast Extra 118 – The Crow Wicked Prayer

The Crow: Wicked Prayer (2005) features Edward Furlong as JIMMY CUERVO, who battles Nic CRASH and Lola BYRNE and their gang of Satanists after being murdered and then Crow-ed. It is laughably bad. Unbelievably bad.

BMFcast474 – Best of the Best 2 – Meg Foster Care

Best of the Best 2 (1993) continues the adventures of your favorite characters from the first installment, except this time they get involved in an underground Las Vegas fight/murder club… with deadly results.

In the second half we’ve got the hottest of takes on Spider-Man: Far From Home, Stranger Things Season 3, 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street and The Lego Ninjago Movie. Plus, your emails and voicemails. Enjoy!
