Skatetown USA (1979) has never been available commercially until just now, as a Blu-ray has just been released. If you’ve ever dreamed of time traveling, pop this disc in and let the colors and sounds take you away to a simpler time of vaudeville comedians, skate dancing and cocaine.

BMFcast Extra 125 – Universal Soldier II Brothers in Arms
Universal Soldier II: Brothers in Arms (1998) is a direct to pay cable “sequel” to the 1992 film that pretty much picks up where that film left off featuring none of the original cast members. The latter is not even in the top 10 of this film’s issues. Still, it co-stars Gary Busey and Burt Reynolds, so that’s the draw here.

BMFcast482 – Journey to the Center of the Earth – Whacking the Mackerel
Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008) is a 15 minute 3D theme park attraction that runs 90 minutes. Brendan Fraser and Josh Hutcherson fall into the center of the earth and then have to journey out of it. It’s kind of backwards actually. But it might be dumb fun.
In the second half, Harlo recounts the Rambo quadrilogy while BJ wraps up the third season of GLOW and two more seasons of Archer. Enjoy!

BMFcast Extra 123 – Project Shadowchaser
Project: Shadowchaser (1992) is sometimes just called Shadowchaser, but either way it features an android named Romulus Shadowchaser (Frank Zagarino) who takes the President’s daughter (Meg Foster) hostage in order to collect 50 million dollars. Ex-football man Martin Kove is the only one who can stop him, that’s to the most convoluted series of events ever.

Wheels of Fire (1985) is a post-apocalyptic Mad Max “tribute” starring no one. It’s 80 minutes of car chases, stunts, flame throwers, sex in the heavens, and occasional dune buggies.

Iron Eagle II (1988) is a lousy sequel that makes the original look even better. Doug Masters is killed off in the opening scene and then Louis Gossett Jr. has to get a bunch of bland US and Soviet forces to work together to blow up the Middle East.
