BMFcast438 – Terminal Error – Brademic

Terminal Error (2002) is an absurd tale of computer hacking and sentient computer viruses. A small, completely automated California town is in danger of being wiped off the map after a hacker (Timothy Busfield) lets loose a virus to get revenge on his old friends Michael Nouri and Marina Sirtis. It’s goofy!

In the second half we’ve got rage to unleash upon The Predator (2018) and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), but then have nice things to say about Upgrade (2018). Enjoy!

BMFcast Extra 089 – Certain Fury

Certain Fury (1985) stars Oscar winners Tatum O’Neal and Irene Cara as two criminals on the run from the NYPD, hunting them down for a police massacre they had no part of. Along the way, terrible things happen to them. Fun!

BMFcast437 – Hooper – Bumping the Brat

Hooper (1978) is how we’ve chosen to pay tribute to the late Burt Reynolds, and as it turns out, it might be the Burt-iest movie ever made. Burt’s a stuntman and his friends are stuntmen and they do stunts and tell jokes and then the movie’s over. It’s great!

In the second half we ramble a bit about Flight of the Conchords, The Muppets, New Jack City, Astro Boy and Step Up 3 (not in 3D). Enjoy!

BMFcast Extra 088 – Corvette Summer

Corvette Summer (1978) is Mark Hamill’s follow-up to Star Wars, Annie Potts’ first movie, and the film you chose for us to watch in this week’s poll. Hamill and friends build a Corvette, it gets stolen, he tracks it down in Las Vegas and falls in love with a hooker in training (Potts). Good times can be had, if you can get past the WTF WAS HAPPENING IN THE 1970s-ness of it all.

BMFcast436 – Walking Tall – The Choo Choo Veggie

Walking Tall (2004) is a movie with The Rock that we all ignored for some reason, but are thrilled as hell that we finally watched. He’s a war hero who comes home to a town filled with corruption, so he grabs a big stick and beats everyone up. It’s great! And brisk.

In the second half we self-promote ourselves as Chuck talks up the new season of 31 Days of Horror and BJ debuts his new Twitch channel Bedtime Story TV. Enjoy!

BMFcast Extra 087 – The Swarm

The Swarm (1978) was chosen by the listeners as our next movie, and we now hate the listeners. Just kidding. Michael Caine fights the bees and we fight the boredom. Note: We watched the 155 minute cut of The Swarm which is not the version to watch.
