BMFcast342 – Prayer of the Rollerboys – Make America Skate Again

bmf-ep342-slider

Prayer of the Rollerboys (1991) brings Skatember into the distant future, where gangs of trenchcoated drug-dealing rollerbladers control the post-apocalyptic streets of Los Angeles. Is Corey Haim the only one who can stop them? Will he need help from Patricia Arquette? How awesome is Mark Pellegrino in this? All these questions will be answered, and more!

Second half we talk about Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016) before declaring it our shortest half ever. Enjoy!

BMFcast287 – Shovel Chucker

The Final Sanction (1990) is our movie of the week as we pay tribute to the late David A. Prior and Robert Z’Dar. Ted Prior is back to represent the US in a mano a mano showdown vs. USSR to end nuclear conflict.

Second half we discuss Rush, The Hobbit series and They Live. Plus listener correspondence. Enjoy!

BMFcast281 – Robo With A Shotgun

BMF-Ep281-slider

Crash And Burn (1990) is Charles Band’s unofficial sequel to BMFcast classic Robot Jox (now available on Blu ray!) We discover it’s a Robot Jox sequel in name only, though it has its fair share of robots. Will they be enough to make us recommend this low budget sci-fi/horror combo?

After the break we get into all sorts of movie talk as we wrap up last week’s Terminator series discussion and give our thoughts on the brand new Terminator Genisys. Chuck talks about his 3-day weekend movie marathon, Harlo weighs in on Chappie and Maggie, BJ lets us know if Kingsman: The Secret Service is worth your time and we even get a bunch of listener e-mails in. It’s super-sized, so get listening and enjoy!

BMFcast264 – Trash Talkin

1990: The Bronx Warriors (1982) is our choice for celebrating 6 years of podcasting. Can a hero named Trash with a strangely rigid saunter lead his biker gang to victory over the post-apocalyptic Bronx wasteland ruled by The Ogre (Fred Williamson) in the distant future of 1990?

Second half BJ needs your help deciphering Frank, Chuck revisits a BMF classic in Vicious Lips, Harlo falls in love with Star Wars Rebels, and we check out a metric ton of listener voicemails and e-mails. Enjoy!

BMFcast256 – Sensory Overload

Needs more robot menacing

Hardware (1990) is our first movie of 2015. This is not the movie you’re looking for. Move along.

Second half it’s time for our 2014 Golden Jox celebrating the best movies of the year. That’s it. The entire half. Enjoy!

BMFcast241 – The Penultimate Surprise of the Bad Movie Fiends

Not sure we had enough class to watch this one.

Detention (2011) is a bit of a surprise for us. We went in only because it’s from the same director of Torque and what we ended up getting may shock you (because it did us).

Second half we discuss Sharknado 2: The Second One and Amazing Spider-man 2: the one that came after all the other Spider-man movies. Plus listener correspondence and more. Enjoy!

BMFcast231 – Three Hosts Step Up

In your face!

Step Up 3D (2010) is what happens when a stupid second half project produces a surprise gem to be shared with everyone.  This may not only be the best dance movie of all time, it may be the best 3D movie of all time.

Second half we talk Edge of Tomorrow, X-Men: Days of Future Past and more plus catch up on some listener correspondence. Enjoy!

BMFcast202 – The Pringles Effect

Class of 1999 (1990) is the movie this week. We missed doing it, as promised, for Episode 199 so we decided it was time. Robot teachers are put into a warzone high school and the consequences are less than ideal. Also Stacy Keach is amazing to behold.

Second half we discuss Thor: The Dark World, The World’s End and take correspondence from the people of the world. Enjoy!

BMFcast81 – Land of Race Car Blah Blahs

Tell me this isn’t the poster to a movie you want to see.

The Last Chase (1981) begins our quest of movies from the 80s by episode number. Lee Majors drives a race car. Burgess Meredith drives a fighter jet sent to destroy said race car. How can this not be fun?

Second half we gush for a while about our amazing fans by taking a voicemail and taking a peak at Curt’s package *ahem*. Then we talk Pirates 4. You don’t get a link to that one. It’s already made enough money for its own mediocrity.

BMFcast66 – Six

Ooo wee ooo he looks just like Buddy Holly.

Six-String Samurai (1998) is the story of Buddy the Rockabilly Samurai who must reach Lost Vegas to be the new King after Elvis’ death. Yeah, it’s got promise, but we’ll be the judge of the finished product.

Then the second half is all about the best of 2010. Find out our Golden Jox winner of the year. Plus, a few listener voicemails on the Garfield Phone Hotline.
