BMFcast599 – China Strike Force – Kung Foolio

China Strike Force (2000) lets us test The Coolio Principle in our penultimate episode. He and Mark Dacascos are gangsters who want a piece of China’s drug trade. Our heroes (Aaron Kwok & Leehom Wang) are there to put a stop to it. It’s from the director of Rumble in the Bronx (Stanley Tong) so we know the stunts will deliver. Will it deliver the Jox as well, or will the Coolio Principle remain in effect?

BMFcast219 – Capoeiricus

Only the Strong (1993) is our final movie for March Dacascos, this one has the distinct honor of being pretty much the only American movie to prominently feature the Brazilian dance fighting style capoeira.

Second half we discuss American Hustle, Silver Linings Playbook, Saving Mr. Banks and Pretty In Pink. Enjoy!

BMFcast218 – St. Robert Patrick’s Day

Double Dragon (1994) is week 3’s movie for March Dacascos. This time we get to see Mark use his martial arts ability but he is hampered by his annoying little “brother” Scott Wolf. At least Robert Patrick and Alyssa Milano are along for visual enjoyment in their unique ways.

Second half we discuss Veronica Mars (2014), Thor: The Dark World (2013)Argo (2013), The Artist (2012) and more. Plus listener correspondence. Enjoy!

BMFcast217 – LeBron Scores 40

Scorcher (2002) is our second movie for March Dacascos and this time Mark is totally miscast as a military guy who has absolutely no idea how to fight. Rutger Hauer plays the President who decides the only way to save the planet is to detonate a nuke in Los Angeles.

Second half we talk some random movies including The Lego Movie, 12 Years A Slave and Smokey and the Bandit. Plus listener correspondence and more. Enjoy!

BMFcast216 – The Secret Ingredient of Our Success

American Samurai (1992) is our first movie for March Dacascos and also happens to be our 5th Anniversary episode. So we brought in the director/star of Cyborg Cop to kick us off.

Second half it’s time for the long promised all listener correspondence half as we had a lot of catching up to do. Enjoy!
