I actually have a VHS copy of ‘Star Crash’. To put it simply:
Buzz, your girlfriend? Woof.
I actually got “Star Crash” last year from Netflix. I guess a lot of people don’t want to give it back.
Oh, and you guys forgot a lot of the good Japanese gangster movies like “Brother”, “Violent Cop” or “Ichi the Killer”. Well, in reality if you’re lookin’ for a good modern Yakuza film anything by ‘Beat’ Takeshi is good.
The best/worst part of this flick was the stretch of at least 30 minutes where there’s no shark or octopus action at all… it’s just the three leads eating popcorn, mixing colored goo, and fucking each other in the science lab’s locker room. Yes, while they’re totally aware that there are super creatures roaming the seas eating ships, planes and bridges, they have no sense of urgency and instead kick back to enjoy snacks and nookie.
