BMFcast472 – T-Force – Maybe It’s Valvoline

T-Force (1994) is a delightfully silly low budget action film from the masterminds at PM Entertainment, makers of Hologram Man. RoboCops are decommissioned but that goes against their survival protocol, so they rebel. Also, they learn to love… physically. Lots of other things (besides their robopassion) explode all over the screen.

In the second half there are X-Men: Dark Phoenix and San Andreas thoughts, along with an extended rant about people not shutting the hell up in theaters, and why it’s broken yet another one of us. Enjoy!

BMFcast Extra 117 – Last Action Hero

Last Action Hero (1993) features the can’t fail trio of screenwriter Shane Black, director John McTiernan and action star Arnold Schwarzenegger. And they blew it. To most people anyway. Looking back now on this action parody, is it really as lousy as people think?

BMFcast471 – Excessive Force 2 Force on Force – Handball for the Homeless

Excessive Force 2: Force on Force (1995) is an in-name only sequel to a film even we don’t remember. A former special forces lady hunts her previous commanding officer who tried putting a bullet into her brain. Some of that bullet is still there, which causes problems for her at the worst possible times.

Another truncated second half this week, but we still sneak in some further thoughts on Deadwood, Good Omens and The Lego Movie 2. Enjoy!

BMFcast Extra 116 – The Crow Salvation

The Crow: Salvation (2000) is the third Crow movie and our fourth Crow episode. At this point we feel as if we are Crow experts and we are here to tell you that maybe, just maybe, you should watch The Crow: Salvation. You can trust our expert opinion.

BMFcast470 – Driving Force – Sex Mint

Driving Force (1989) takes place during an apocalypse of some kind, but one that has only affected the tow truck industry. Sam Jones and Don Swayze play dueling tow truck drivers, and Catherine Bach plays a lady.

In the second half we’ve got some thoughts on The Lego Movie 2, and BJ revisits the BMFcast classic Action USA. Enjoy!

BMFcast Extra 115 – Tank

Tank (1984) is not the murder revenge fantasy it needs to be, but it’s still the tale of an Army Sergeant Major (James Garner) wrecking the state of Georgia in a tank because the local law is corrupt. Earnest, sincere and a lot of fun. Also, strangely relevant?

BMFcast469 – Irresistible Force – She’s Got Skillets

Irresistible Force (1993) is a failed TV pilot starring Stacy Keach and Cynthia Rothrock as mismatched cops who actually have more in common than they think. In the first and only episode, terrorists take over the Most Important Mall in the World™ and Rothrock is trapped inside.

In the second half we’ve got thoughts on Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Booksmart, Good Omens and Deadwood: The Movie. Enjoy!
