Mankillers (1987) brings director David A. Prior back to the show, as he tells us the story of an all-girl squad of inmates-turned-mercenaries out to take down a drug agent gone rogue in Columbia. (Or Columbia, South Carolina – we’re not sure.) Will this combination of Hell Squad and Deadly Prey work for us?
In the second half we briefly revisit Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) and the series in general before Maki reviews Justin Lin’s Star Trek Beyond (2016), Harlo’s pinball journey continues with Barb Wire (1996) and we close out the show (and the year) with some heartwarming e-mails. Enjoy!
