BMFcast284 – Jean Claude Valjean

BMF-Ep284-slider

Lionheart (1990) aka Wrong Bet aka A.W.O.L. brings back Jean-Claude Van Damme and the director of Only The Strong for a street fightin’ good time with a terrific sidekick and an even better final fight.

Second half Harlo talks Ted 2, Chuck gives us the lowdown on Joe Dirt and Joe Dirt 2, and we take a plethora of voicemails from the Garfield Hotline. Enjoy!

BMFcast283 – Weekend at Thornies

BMF-Ep283-slider

Side Out (1990) shows us what happens when you stretch the Top Gun volleyball scene out to a full-length movie with C. Thomas Howell, Peter Horton and Courtney Thorne Smith. And it’s glorious.

Second half we talk about Ant-Man and get an interesting phone call on the Garfield Hotline. Check it out and enjoy!

BMFcast282 – Liberty and Bags

BMF-Ep282-slider

Liberty & Bash (1990) promised us some vets (Miles O’Keeffe and Lou Ferrigno) beating up drug dealers and taking back their streets. Sounds awesome, right? What we actually got was something else entirely, sadly.

Second half we talk Ex Machina, San Diego ComiCon reactions and even squeeze in a couple listener e-mails. Enjoy!

BMFcast281 – Robo With A Shotgun

BMF-Ep281-slider

Crash And Burn (1990) is Charles Band’s unofficial sequel to BMFcast classic Robot Jox (now available on Blu ray!) We discover it’s a Robot Jox sequel in name only, though it has its fair share of robots. Will they be enough to make us recommend this low budget sci-fi/horror combo?

After the break we get into all sorts of movie talk as we wrap up last week’s Terminator series discussion and give our thoughts on the brand new Terminator Genisys. Chuck talks about his 3-day weekend movie marathon, Harlo weighs in on Chappie and Maggie, BJ lets us know if Kingsman: The Secret Service is worth your time and we even get a bunch of listener e-mails in. It’s super-sized, so get listening and enjoy!

BMFcast280 – Mull Moll and Drive

thinkbig

Think Big (1990) is this week’s cinematic extravaganza, as The Barbarian Brothers return along with Richard Kiel, Martin Mull, Richard Moll, Michael Winslow, David Carradine, the chick from Shakma and Zeus from No Holds Barred. It’s a gagfest that might work in spite of itself? We go inside the comedy mind of the Barbarians and find out. In the second half we talk about Get Hard, and then it’s Terminator Genisys prep as we discuss the first four films in the Terminator franchise. Enjoy!
