BMFcast140 – Daaaaah

Max Magician and the Legend of the Rings (2002) is reviewed this week. It’s a kids’ movie that rips off all other kids’ movies ever made but it happens to have Dagda, one of our favorite villains of all time.

Second half we continue the Bond Marathon with For Your Eyes Only. Plus talk about the Bourne series including The Bourne Legacy. Enjoy!

  1. Strelnikov says:

This movie reminds me of a painful German film called “Daniel the Wizard”, which is about how a no-talent winner of the German version of “American Idol” charms people with magic tricks. Why? Because both movies SUUUUCK.

If you people are going to waste your lives looking at crap, then at least look at good crap, like George Lucas’ “Red Tails.” Here is a decent comedy review of Lucas’ “masterpiece”:

    Strelnikov out.

  2. Blair Russell says:

I actually saw Red Tails on the big screen. It’s poorly plotted/laid out and it’s real cliche, but other than that it wasn’t that bad. Although I don’t know why one of the characters in this World War II film sounded exactly like Smokey from Friday.

Speaking of Lucas, I have to laugh that Max Magician (a.k.a. 13 year old Justin Bieber) cried that he couldn’t save someone just like Anakin Skywalker in Episode II.

I’ve heard of this but never have seen it aside from some great clips of it on YouTube. I now want to see it as it sounds hilarious.

  3. MusiM says:

I like that smarmy jerkface described a character as smarmy.
