BMFcast72 – Mandiballs

Taking back the word “zone” with explosive force.

Zone Troopers (1985) is reviewed and we are joined once again by Shiny Lights TStrel. This one is brought to us by Charles Band and directed by the writer of Arena. While not quite the unanimous winner that was, we still manage to have plenty of fun with this one.

Then second half it’s all Oscar talk. We give our picks, wishes and regrets on the entire showdown.

BMFcast71 – 47 Little Indians

Nuthugger violence

Deadly Prey (1987) may be a low budget First Blood ripoff, but it’s got plenty going for it that John Rambo didn’t have till two sequels later – a HUGE body count. Oh and more mullets and tinier jean shorts.

Then in the second half we take some listener voicemails which answer many questions regarding myths, jobs and blood filled condoms. We also talk Winter’s Bone, The Mechanic and Exit Through the Gift Shop.

BMFcast70 – Dickelf

A new standard in our rating system.

Forbidden Zone (1982) is (sigh) reviewed this episode. Just typing that statement pains us. This “movie” may have set a new standard for our lowest of the lows. Not since Twilight crossed our paths have we felt this much pain. Hope you enjoy our suffering.

On a happier note, in the second half we review The Mechanic and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (winner of the longest movie title of the last 10 years). Then it’s on to our reviews of the previews aired during Super Bowl XLV and a quick breakdown on what we’re looking forward to during the Summer Movie Season.
